PUBS became pit stops as the glamour of a Grand Prix came to a small village.
East Bergholt held its annual charity pram race on Monday, and competitors raced around a two and a half mile circuit in the name of charity.
Each team featured a pram and passenger being pushed by two or three people from pub to pub.
The person in the pram had to drink half a pint in each pub before crossing the finishing line.
There was a tie for first place, as even a photo finish could not split a team from the Red Lion pub and a team from the Carriers Arms.
East Bergholt Belles were recognised as the fastest ladies team, and the best fancy dress award was given to a team of competitors in Roman togas.
More than £1,000 was raised for research into Parkinson’s and Alzheimer's diseases.
