DON’T miss the chance to catch global star Benedict Cumberbatch as Hamlet (right) on the big screen at the Electric Palace, in Harwich, on Thursday.
Tickets to see the performance live have sold out quickly, but there will be a live screening held at cinemas around the country for those who have missed the opportunity.
The production will be broadcast from the Barbican Theatre as part of National Theatre Live, a campaign to bring the best of British theatre to cinema audiences.
Experience Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy in this latest rendition. The production has run at the theatre from August 5, and Cumberbatch has so far earned strong praise for his performance.
Directed by Lyndsey Turner, the play also stars Anastasia Hille as Hamlet’s mother Gertrude, Leo Bill as his best friend Heratio and Ciarán Hinds as the murdering uncle Claudius.
The Electric Palace will screen the performance at 7pm, with tickets costing £12.50. To book, go to electricpalace.com
