A High Street which was closed off after a sink hole opened up has now re-opened to traffic.
Anglian Water started work to fix the hole in Thorpe High Street on Wednesday and the road was open again this morning.
A collapsed sewer outside The Bell pub caused a hole to appear in the road several feet deep.
A spokesman for Anglian Water said: "There was a small collapse on an adjoining sewer rather than the main sewer we CCTV surveyed earlier in the week, which we found to be working normally.
"We worked around the clock over the weekend to get it repaired and reopened as soon as possible."
