A MAN has charged in connection with two knife-point robberies in Clacton.
Simon Harrigan, 37, unemployed, of Granville Road, Clacton, is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today.
He has been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
Officers received a call at 12.35pm on Saturday about a knife point robbery in Best One, in High Street, and then a report of a knife point robbery in Coral, in Station Road, at 5.20pm.
The suspect left with a three-figure sum of cash. None of the victims were injured.
Police arrested man in Pier Avenue at around 10.15pm that day.
