New mums and mothers-to-be are being asked for their views on maternity services in Harwich, Clacton and Colchester.

NHS North East Essex have joined with the Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust to hold consultation events between February and April.

The dates and venues are still being finalised, Denise Hagel, director of Nursing at NHS North East Essex, wants the views of service users.

The discussion sessions are being planned with the help of the local Maternity Services Liaison Committee (MSLC) which has local mums among its members.
