HARWICH and Parkeston boss Matt Carmichael says his title-chasing players have the “bit between their teeth”.
The Shrimpers were recently knocked off their perch at the top of the Kent Blaxill Essex and Suffolk Border League premier division, having lost 2-1 at Tollesbury.
However, they roared back to form thanks to last weekend’s 5-0 rout against Earls Colne.
And they have the chance to reclaim top spot by winning tomorrow’s match at Dedham Old Boys.
Tollesbury are without a game. “We’re up for it and the players have the bit between their teeth,” said manager Carmichael.
