BRANTHAM Athletic manager Paul Abrahams has praised the attitude and work-rate of his players as they continue their preparations for the new Thurlow Nunn League season.
Despite a summer of change, with established players moving on and the club putting an even heavier emphasis on youth development, the squad looks in good shape heading into tomorrow’s final pre-season friendly at home to Heybridge Swifts (kick-off 3pm).
Brantham have notched up two 4-0 wins in the last week, thrashing Ryman League side Bury Town last weekend and then winning by the same score at home to Essex and Suffolk Border League outfit Tollesbury on Tuesday.
And Abrahams has nothing but praise for his players.
“There have been lots of positives so far, in terms of our preparations,” said the former Colchester United midfielder.
