AARON Bilton blasted a century as Harwich and Dovercourt Cricket Club pocketed a timely 20 points, on Saturday.

Tommy Armstrong’s side triumphed by 59 runs at Stowmarket.

Batting first in the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship division five contest, Harwich were all out for 245, with opener Bilton smashing 121.

His ton included 17 fours and two sixes.

Harwich then bowled Stowmarket out for 186, mainly thanks to Richie Bushell (four for 41), Steve Bushell (three for 54) and Dinesh (two for 53).

Fifth-from-bottom Harwich face basement boys Kelvedon and Feering’s second team tomorrow, at Low Road.
