HARWICH and Dovercourt Rugby Club have the chance to put some silverware in their trophy cabinet tomorrow.
The Eastern Counties League division two south high-fliers are travelling to Suffolk to contest the Suffolk Plate final.
Harwich won the competition two years ago and head into the showdown in great form – making them hopeful of reclaiming it.
Coach Shane Manning is urging his players to “impose” themselves on their hosts but has warned them that they have to stay focused for 80 minutes.
He said: “Training has been really intense, so the guys are prepared.
“We just need to go out there and impose our game on Haverhill.
“If we do that, we should have some silverware locked away before Christmas."
