Andy and Sally book final place
ANDY and Sally Barton (Crown C) were section winners in the Constable League’s mixed pairs competition.
They won through at The Crown Cattawade, while Rick Brogan and Karen Baksh (Red Lion) prevailed at the Skinners Arms.
To reach the finals, the Bartons beat Richard Blackman and Sarah Mills (Foxash A) 2-0, Andy Poole and Jenny Bird (Crown A) 2-0 and Robin Cranch and Kim Housham (Hare and Hounds) 2-0.
Brogan and Baksh beat David Gray and Maureen Wright (Kings Head) 2-0, Neil and Lynn Langdown (Crown C) 2-1, John and Amy Collins (Skinners Arms A) 2-0 and David and Wendy Kempen (Carriers Arms) 2-0.
