HARWICH pair Sam Poole and Harry Windred have enjoyed a season of success playing for Woodbridge Town.
The Harwich and Dovercourt High School students (pictured) have been playing for the club’s under-15s in the South Suffolk Youth League and the Eastern Junior Alliance League.
They helped their team finish as champions of the South Suffolk Youth League, winning the premier division with 16 wins out of 16.
Windred captained the side on several occasions, scoring twice.
Poole scored five goals from midfield.
Woodbridge also won the Suffolk section of the Eastern Junior Alliance.
Now they will compete against the winners of the London, Essex and Hertfordshire Junior Alliance teams.
Poole and Windred helped Woodbridge win the Minor Cup final on Sunday, defeating Kirkley 6-1.
And they will be hoping for more cup glory on May 9, they play Hadleigh in the League Cup final.
