THE Harwich Men’s League season is set to begin on September 18, with the Derek Race Cup.
This year, organisers Bob and Steve Race have requested that the event is held at Harwich and Dovercourt Cricket Club, in Low Road.
It is for captains and secretaries, although substitutes are allowed to play if the captain and secretary are unavailable.
Roll-call is at 7.45pm.
The first league games will be on September 25.
Fixture sheets will be out soon, while the first committee meeting will be on October 5, at 8pm.
This will include the knockout cup draws.
The formats for both leagues are three pairs, best of three 601, and six singles, best of three 501.
