IND Coope A have taken an early-season lead in the Harwich Men’s League’s A division.
They secured another heavy win, 8-1 at home to the Cricket Club.
The only Cricketers’ winner was Martin Heath, in the singles, and Coope’s Neil Langdown scored 180.
Ind Coope B suffered their first defeat, going down 7-2 to Hanover A.
In the game, Alan Mathieson scored 180.
In the pairs, Hanover’s Pete Cheesman had 14 darts with a 102 shot-out.
Trafalgar go up into second spot after a 7-2 win at the Services.
Little Oakley A’s Damien Smith scored 180 in his team’s 5-4 home win against the Maybush.
Squirrels were too strong as they ran out 7-2 winners at the Golf Club and move up two places into fifth in the table.
In the B division, Shrimpers were thrashed 9-0 for the second week running, this time by The Flag, who go top.
Cherry Tree are second, one point behind the Flag, and they had a narrow 5-4 win at home to Little Oakley B.
At one time, Oakley led 4-1, but Cherry Tree hit back by winning the last four single games. Rangers came back from 4-3 down to win the last two games for a 5-4 win.
Dave Kempen, for the Rangers, had a 100 finish.
Globe had their first big win when they beat high-placed Ships 6-3.
Ships’ Nick Lawrie had a 14-dart leg.
Nathan Mcdonough won the last game for Luney Club’s first win at the R/A club.
Andrew Perry for the R/A had a 100 check out.
