BRANTHAM Athletic boss Paul Skingley hailed his side’s best performance since taking over after watching them pip high-flying Godmanchester Rovers.
The Imps won 2-1 in Saturday’s Thurlow Nunn League premier division contest, thanks to goals from Ollie Mann and Sean Gunn.
Brantham are now unbeaten in four matches, heading into tomorrow’s trip to Fakenham.
And Skingley was full of praise for his players after defeating one of the teams challenging for second spot in the table, behind runaway leaders Norwich United.
“On a difficult pitch, in windy conditions, I thought the lads gave probably their best performance since I took over,” said the Imps boss, who was appointed in late January.
